American Camp Association  American Camp Association

Project Morry is a nationally recognized, youth development organization that empowers youth from at-risk, economically challenged communities to envision a positive future. The program features:

  • Academic enrichment programs during the school year, anchored by a superb character-building summer residential camp experience.
  • One-on-one mentoring, and emotional support, giving our youth, ages 9-18, the skills and confidence with which to pursue their vision, and achieve their life long goals.
  • A 9 year commitment to each child, free of charge.
  • An award-winning program that includes sequenced, age appropriate curriculum allowing for a seamless flow of learning and growth across the 9 year program

Each child benefits from a network of support and gains increased social skills, enhanced self-esteem, positive core values and a greater sense of personal responsibility.

Rachel Andreus was a Project Morry Camper from 1996-2004, making her a part of the "Pioneers" group. In 2008, she graduated from Cornell University. She majored in Applied Economics and Management, with a concentration in Marketing. She's worked at two advertising agencies thus far and was recently promoted from Assistant Media Planner to Planner at a media-planning agency called OMD in New York City.
